Do you need a bit of help sorting out F-stops, jpegs, depth-of field, rule of thirds? Or simply how to turn a snap into a picture? Perhaps you're curious about what the digital age means to photography and how to bring your camera and computer together to produce stunning results. Maybe you already know some of these things and wish to share your expertise or develop it further?

Inaugurated in October 2007, the Hadleigh Temple Camera Club is open to all people interested in photography whether associated with The Salvation Army or not. People with all levels of photographic skill are welcome. Attendees at the meetings range from real beginners to a retired professional. It is a very friendly club with a good atmosphere.

A key supporter and speaker at the club is Robin Bryant, who for many years was The Salvation Army's chief photographer and his excellent work is well known throughout the Salvation Army world.

Several times a year the club holds a competition which is usually judged by a fully qualified photographic judge. It is at the competitions where people learn a lot about the art of photography as the judges comment on each photograph: what's good about it and how it might be improved.
