Cadets go out on a high
Sunday May 13th was the final Sunday the cadets were at Hadleigh Temple. It was fitting as it was Candidates’ Sunday and the theme of the day was letting your light shine. Shelley led the morning meeting with Mark and Katrina taking the platform in the evening. Both meetings overran a bit, but it didn’t seem that they were long because both meetings were very powerful.

Mounting Workshop Evening
27 Members took part in a special, extra Club evening workshop on Tuesday 8th May 2012. We had seven “Logan” mount cutters on separate tables for members to work at.
The Club owns one machine and six members provided their own equipment for all to share.
Everybody who came to the evening successfuly mounted at least one photograph on mountboard being supplied in most cases by the owners of the cutters.
Refreshments were provided, as usual by Myrtle who was assisted by Hilary with the evening being introduced by John with a brief account of how he uses his own cutter. Tuition during the evening was given by the various cutter owners.
Ralph finished the evening by thanking John and delivering the closing prayer.
